We Made a New Feature!

Yes, we have been making a LOT of Trackside Live videos lately (Mike has been live four days in a row making something like 10 separate videos), but we are still working away in the studio as well. Here's our latest video, that premiered to our subscribers this evening. It's Double-Header Steam running from Chattanooga, TN to Summerville, GA on one of TVRM's excursion trains. Enjoy the action including drone footage and great sound!

Another new video!

That's two new 4k videos this week! This time it's the 2023 CSX Santa Train and its heartwarming journey through the Appalachian coal country. Join Mike for the action and Casey for the history as we understand what makes this train an 81-year tradition.

Our most ambitious project yet!

4k footage of the Norfolk Southern Heritage unit number 8099, the Southern, painted in the fallen flag livery of the Southern Railway Company. Enjoy seeing its return to Chattanooga, along with rare footage of the Southern (as the lead locomotive) being broken down in the DeButts classification yard -- which was formerly the Citico Yard of Southern Railway!

A New Walkthrough of Cincinnati Union Terminal

Mike headed up to Cincinnati and happened to catch the Union Terminal in the midst of its Museum Day celebration. His video is replete with antique cars, fire trucks, harmony singers, and folks in period dress. We hope you enjoy this 4k video walkthrough! A history presentation from docent Dave begins at the 10:39 mark, and it's well worth watching even if you skip everything else from the fantastic Museum Day.

New Video up covering the Collegedale Derailment with exclusive footage

Here is new footage of this somber event that saddened the hearts of railfans all around the Chattanooga area. Fortunately, nobody was killed, and the two injured railroad workers were treated and released. Video

Things are getting busy around here!

Mike has been furiously filming and Casey has been editing as fast as his fingers can move. We have a new YouTube #Shorts video to promote our next Roll-Up that drops on Wednesday, 2-22 at 12:15pm Eastern. Also, Part 2 of our series in Lookout Valley was released on Saturday, so watch it here!

We're excited to announce that our latest train video will be uploaded to our RailMoments channel on YouTube this weekend! This video showcases the best angles and the most memorable moments from our latest railfan excursion, and it is sure to be a hit with railfans around the world. From scenic views to a variety of cargo and graffiti, this video has something for everyone. So be sure to mark your calendars and tune in to our RailMoments channel on YouTube this weekend to catch the latest addition to our collection of train videos!

Another RailMoments episode!

Yes, our second episode takes us to the tracks where the General once was involved in the Great Locomotive Chase. Lots of great trains. Enjoy!

RailMoment Roll-Up: Graysville, GA

We have decided to mix in quick, short videos along with our longer RailMoments videos. We're calling these a "Roll-Up" because usually we see a green light on the tracks and roll up and jump out. We set up as much equipment as we can before the train comes along, so usually, it's minimal. See our first one below and let us know if you like this idea!

New video is up!

Mike and I went down to Cohutta, Georgia, and filmed some great trains. We even got to see a Heritage unit operating as a DPU! Check out the video below and let us know if you have ever been to this area or seen this line.
